Online training for court staff covering domestic violence dynamics, fundamentals, and safety.
Developed by the New Mexico Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC), Domestic Violence Training for Frontline Court Staff addresses the challenges associated with domestic violence cases, including the complex legal process and often difficult dynamics between parties. Through the use of video interviews and resource documentation, the course focuses on:
- Domestic Violence Dynamics
- Domestic Violence Fundamentals
- Domestic Violence Safety
Although designed for frontline court staff, the training provides useful information for all persons within the judicial branch including judges and other judicial officers. It can be viewed as a whole or in parts and used as a resource.
