New Code of Judicial Conduct Advisory Opinions
Opinions 16-01 (Volunteer Service) and 16-02 (Attorney Conflict) are now available on JEC's website.
Two new advisory opinions from the Advisory Committee on the Code of Judicial Conduct are available in the Manuals & Resources section of JEC's website. Opinion 16-01 addresses whether a judge can organize a fundraising concert for a high school band. Opinion 16-02 addresses whether a part-time municipal judge who is also a practicing attorney may represent a criminal defendant when the arresting officer regularly appears in before the judge in municipal court.
