This publication was developed by the National Judicial Education Program in conjunction with judges experienced in presiding in adult victim sexual assault cases. It presents a compendium of 25 points and commentary on key issues related to adult victim sexual assault. It was updated in 2012 to include victimization data from the National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey published by the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control of the Centers for Disease Control.
