Attendance Requirement
The Judicial Continuing
Education Committee, pursuant to its authority under NMRA
18-201, has adopted a policy on mandatory domestic violence
training that states, in part, that "all domestic violence
special commissioners shall annually attend the JEC training
for domestic violence commissioners."
In accordance with AOC policy, JEC will monitor and report attendance to the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC).
Requests to be excused from attendance must be submitted directly to the
Chief Justice of the NM Supreme Court.
If you are unable to attend, you may request DVDs of the seminar to earn continuing education credits. Please email Cynthia Hensley at chensley@unm.edu with the address at which you would like the DVDs sent.
Continuing Legal & Judicial
Education Credit (CLE/CJE)
This program is approved for a total of 7.2 CJE/CLE credits. The credits break down as follows.

- 1.0 (Ethics)
- 1.0 (Professionalism)

- $80 plus tax for single occupancy
- $100 plus tax for double occupancy

negotiated reduced rate will be honored when reservations are made on
or before April 10 or until the room block is full.
