The National Judicial College (NJC) will present their course, Conducting the Trial, at this year's conference. This course will include topics such as:
- troubleshooting a trial using various trial strategies;
- managing difficult people in the courtroom;
- decision making;
- confrontation in traffic cases;
- how to handle self-represented litigants; and
- weighing evidence.
In addition, there will be New Mexico specific topics that will include:
- ethics violations;
- contempt issues; and
- legal updates
Please note that alternate judges are also welcome to attend.
