The 2011 Municipal Judges Professional Development Conference will include training on Traffic Issues in the 21st Century offered by the National Judicial College. A customized program will be offered to current Municipal Judges including courses on the Role of the Judge in traffic cases, Overview of Sentencing, Pro Se Defendants, Sentencing of Younger and Older Drivers, and round table discussions regarding important traffic related issues facing Municipal Judges.
The 2011 program will begin on Monday May 2 and end on Wednesday May 4, 2011. Online registration is required for this training. Alternate Municipal Judges will not participate in the 2011 training for Municipal Judges, but DVD's will be available after the conference to view for continuing education of Alternate Judges.
