Videoconference: Language Access
January's lunch-time videoconference focuses on issues related to language access in New Mexico magistrate courts. This program, offered on January 28th, is open to magistrate court judges and staff.

Two topics related to language access in the courts will be presented by Pamela Sanchez, Statewide Manager of Language Access and Jury Services, as well as Lisa Dignan, NM Commission for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing.
- Pamela Sanchez will review the Language Access Resources packets that are being distributed to all courts in January and February.
- Lisa Dignan will discuss when and how to appropriately use Interpreters for the Deaf.
